...and where it comes or where it goes
its needs must come and go
neither wanton nor privation suffering
can escape the famished jaws
salivating in deed in need in hunger
for the very thing that which we deny it

shall we lay it open, exposed before the mighty jaws
and find ourselves there also....nude, in flesh and soul
wounds gaping made fresh that seep and weep of all our own
hardships, toils, misfortunes and struggles as they abscess
from the germination of moaning and posturing as though
these encumbrances were not of our own making

offer your conceit, your arrogance, your disdain even your belief
that you are the center of your world for your world is of nothing
...of voided materials left over from the truest conception of man
and beast and then when all is as it was in the womb
...dark and quiet yet full of light and sound shall you find that freedom
you were lacking and the jaws caress you
