A Touch So Gentle
Yes ,this quietness about him ,this man of few words
The quick kiss and fast warm embrace as he walks by
Shy half smile with his head bowed as he looks up at me
Oh , but he is so sincere and is as shy as he could be
This first time finding we were alone for a weekend
Guessing how the evening would inevitably end , knowing
We could both feel the anticipation , and nervous tension
Sitting on the sofa ,watching movies , laughing , cuddling
The odd kiss and arm around my shoulders ,stealing glances
Until finally , he turned around fully , completely held me
It was as though he held my whole body ,firmly and gently
Lightly touching my neck , shoulders with butterfly kisses
To my lips ,as his hands moved just as lightly over my body
Barely a touch so gentle almost absent , in my mind
silently begged for the full weight of his hands on my skin
So new and innocent compared to all I have ever experienced
This feeling of bridging passion slowly building to a point
Where I so longed for him was beautiful ,so beautiful ....
