Subject: Walks up
In reply to: wild herd 's message, "A battered beat up ford drives in, hauling a trailor. A few other trailors follow." on 10:41:02 09/28/01 Fri

Watching all that goes on she see's only three of the herd being taken away; the pregnant bucksin mare, the stallion and the grey mare.
Looks sadly at the others, then decidely walks over to the man who she takes to be in charge.
"Hey, if no one else is gonna buy any of em then I guess I'll take em all. I'm not just going to stand back and watch them being turned into food!
So that'll be the chestnut mare, the appaloosa, the palomino yearling, and the palomino and dun mare and foal."
Working out the calculation in her head she says, "ok so that's $200 for all of them," she pulls her wallet out a coat pocket, counting the money, then hands it over.
Then she turns to look at the horses inside the pddock, trying to know what to do with them - they were far to ill looking to be placed back into the wild, at least, not straight away. Perhaps Mac from the rescue centre would be able to take them in? He was stopping by later today, she'd ask him when he came.
For the mean time they would have to stay where they were.
