The Clearing

*Lill' Travita and Azure pad up to you again as you enter the Clearing. The warm sun is shining down to you from the clear, blue sky, but the trees surrounding you also give delicious shadows at hot summer days. The athmosphere is relaxed, but a bit more firmly than in the Den. Azure speaks to you.* Welcome to the Clearing, our main meeting place. This is where wolves can ask to join or leave the pack, and all important pack decisions are taken here. In the Clearing is my words, as the alpha male, the law. *They step back, letting you in.*

RiverSong pads around the territory with a dazed look in her eyes, stumbling every so often because she doesn't bother to look where she's going. Finally she snaps out of her reverie and howls, a sad, heart-rending, terrible sound that echoes through the trees. "Noooooooo!" she wails, then starts throwing herself against the rough trunk of a nearby tree. She beats herself against the wood until her fur is stained red, the dull thuds expressing her pain.

A wolf pads in -- Spark, 15:02:11 01/08/02 Tue
He's limping, his left forepaw and back leg are bleeding along with his back and snout. He stumbles in and Sees Travis, the first wolf he'd decided to go find. When he'd finally escaped from his captors he's come here, desperately searching for his little friend while running in blind terror from thousands of shadow winged creatures that could very well have just been a fragment of memory. Nat having any strength left to pad over to the group of wolves where Travis sits, crying, he flops to the ground and does not move. Tears spill down his cheeks at the memories of what they had done to him. What they might of done to him. what they will do to BlueRiver.

"Wolves of Whispering Woods pack!" she calls out. "Meet the new alpha pups!"
She puts Acholan down, and turns to look after Azure and Artic Blaze.
The Survivors trots up to her.
"Congartuilations, Travis!," Empherio says smiling.
"Wow, who're you, little one?," Tiriina says as she sits down by the large pup with the colors of a rain cloud. Then she gasps slightly, and with a little laugh she turns to her brothers. "Brothers, look!"
Sher�n and Empherio pads up to the pup too. "Wow!"
"Do you see what I see?," Tiriina asks, and her brothers nod.
Lill' Travita smiles proudly. "His name is Acholan."
The Survivors turn to her, puzzled. "Acholan? You've named him after our Acholan? But how could you...?"
"How could I know he looks just like my uncle, who I've never met?," Travis asks with a playfull smile.
The three nod. "Um... yeah? Did your mother tell you about him?"
Travis shakes her head. "I got the feeling she didn't like talking about her brothers," she says with a small grin. "But you forget the gift my grandmother gave me trough her. Latravita told me."
The Survivors finaly nod understanding and grin as they look back at the newborn pup.

Since some have problems with the backgrounds on Voy-boards, I've changed the text to black so everybody shall be able to read it, even if the background doesn't show up. Please note me when the problem is over, so I can turn it into white again. (('cause this looks horrible *LoL*))

She pads in with a slightly bored look on her face. She'd been ready to fight for her sister, to help get everything back the way it was supposed to be, and Icefire didn't even show up. She shook her head in annoyance. She new it was bad of her to wish for a fight, but she liked how she was now, not scared anymore, not meek or timid. Shaking her head she looked around for someone to talk to. It was funny actually, she'd been here for so long and yet she knew practically no one.
