Subject: The Heart Of Christianity

And the Lord Our God said "how you take care for the least among you is how you will be judged". And "Pay unto Caesar what is owed unto Caesar"(a reference to paying due taxes).

And yet those who call themselves Christians align themselves with the political party that supports neither of these two important scriptures. Folks: As the last three and a half years of history has show, the Republican Party have proven themselves not to be Christians, or ChristIAN.

Of course the Republicans will say they are Pro-life! Wouldn't you be pro-life if you were the rich CEO of a diaper company or baby food/supply firm, or at the least owned stock in said company?

As far as the promise of lower taxes goes, it's a fallacy: Republican voters, particularly pastors, think their low taxes and/or tax exemption allows them to "do the work of God", but "big government" can also do the work of God if enough people speak out against foolish spending and for responsible social programs.

And you'd better start thinking about the so-called "sanctity" of your leaders, particularly those in the white house. Iraq has been acquitted of any tangible connection to Sept.11 by both the Senate Armed Service Committee and the 9/11 Commission on Terrorist Attacks. The motives behind action in Iraq are ulterior in nature and assuredly NOT Christian. Reublicans are NOT Christian!

So THINK! Think before you start throwing levers along party lines in the voting booth. Pray, and think with your heart.
