Subject: Need Info Regarding Poolee & Drugs

My poolee is in DEP, scheduled for boot in mid-July. What if the poolee has smoked pot recently? I know it's against the rules-I signed the Zero Tolerance Policy paper.

Where would one go from here? Lie (ugh) & hope to pass a test when administered? Or fess up a very bad mistake had been made prior to taking the test & suffer the consequences? Exactly what are the consequences? Can one ever sign back up? I spoke with the recruiter in March when a random drug test was administered (and passed) at the high school. The recruiter said "They know if they do drugs they'll lose their MOS". He didn't say they won't take them.

Thanks for any advice or info. regarding when a test is likely to be given and what may lie ahead.

Wanna be a Proud Mom
