I unfortunately don't have time to help implement these kinds of things, but here are a few things that seem to work.

1) Some kind of mail link page for all your discussion specific groups. You cover a lot of shows, and if people get used to a central hub page with various discussions for many shows they are interested in, they might stay for good.

I found this site while trying to find out about The Lost World & a possible season 4. It took me quite a bit of surfing around the site to realize that it was part of a bigger picture.

Still, do what you've got to do, but I think a central page "Solitary Phoneix - Portal to Fantasy" that divides to the other pages might be the best (and it may exist now, but the one page kinda like it was the last page I found, so maybe it's not catalogues well by search engines)

I think Tensai's www.spoilerslayer.com and it's central page is what I'm thining about - and I think his hit count is huge!

2) Push the personals portion of the site. I swear, all us geeks need like-minded dates, so the service will be used if you can raise visibility.

Maybe you can design a flyer and put it on your site explaining the site and how it works. Us, as fellow fans, can print out a copy and put them on tables at sci-fi conventions, comic stores, wherever. That would be easy for you to do (just design a flyer) and easy for us to do (print a copy of the flyer and print 100 and put it on a free giveaway table whereever, preferably a convention). It's win-win, grass roots advertising. And not just the personals, it could be your whole site as well.

3) Link the fool out of this site on other boards, chatrooms, and homepages. If you like a site, ask 'em to link (but for all I know, you are doing just that)
