Subject: She snorts, and then rears up, screaming out and claiming this territory

After claiming this land as her own she looks around it, intense emotions sweeping over her - her land. Hers!
Still tired, not having yet given the sleep her body screamed out for, but she did not wish to rest - not stay and sleep when there was exploration of an alien, unknown land to be busied with.
Her body starved of rest, and collapsing point was near - grudgingly she would comply. Finding a resting point, where she would be surrounded in darkness and safe from danger, she lays down, sleeping.

When fully reenergized, and refreshed from her sleep, the mare awakens. She leaps back to her feet, suddenly alert and cautious that danger may be close by. Only when convinced she was safe does she move out of the woods.
With a sense of excitement, curiosity and adventure, she rears up, and then gallops off - exploring this terrain, and her new home.
