Subject: Meeting of the Maryland Dog Federation

To the Concerned Dog Owners Of Maryland;

There will be a general meeting of the Maryland Dog Federation, Friday, July 26, 6:45 pm, at the Howard County Fairgrounds in the main dining hall (closer to the entrance than the main exhibit hall where the info booth was). The Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation will be discussed as will some plans for near future Federation activities.

Possible Agenda Items:

Addressing limit law issues in Carroll County (as raised by some rescue foster home folks in the county)
Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws
Breed ban in Prince George's County
Pre-emptive state law language and reintroduction
Setting up info booths at other dog related events, flea markets, etc. (The Booth at the Howard county AKC shows over the July 4th weekend were VERY successful)
Making contact with local and state politicians and lawmakers
Committee formations: Steering, legislative, PR/Promotion/electronic information, membership, etc.

Those planning to attend, or who would like to add agenda items, or who need more information are encouraged to call the Federation at 301 779-2422.

Thanks,

Adrianne Lefkowitz
