MASSACHUSETTS BILL # 2075


WOULD REQUIRE INSURANCE COMPANIES TO INSURE DOMESTIC ANIMALS

Stop BREED discrimination!

Let's move quickly. Please write your legislators and, politely, urge them to stop discrimination against specific dog breeds and their owners.

If you wish to email them, fine, but letters sent US Mail carry more weight! Do both! Include the bill number and ask them to support it. Attend the hearing if you can.

Here is the web address to locate the bill. By clicking on the links you can obtain addresses and information on legislators/committee members, etc.

Send letters to each individual insurance committee member (names are on website) to: Joint Committee on Insurance, Room 254, State House, Boston, MA 02133. Tel# (617)722-2220.

Hearing at statehouse will be in May or June; call (617) 722-2220 at the end of the month and they should have a date.

As a side note, my insurance agent said that many of the companies have been talking of excluding ALL terriers from homeowners insurance.
