The Mayor claims that some council members and herself were laying low on the airport issue out of fear of a lawsuit from John Andrews. Maybe I'm cynical, but I think she didn't want to publically embarass her leader Michael Osuna by being in opposition to him on this issue. Now that the ORG has seen that their hope for an airport is a losing battle, they are real quick to say that they were against it all along.

The only people that can factually say that they were against it all along are the people that have been quoted as being against it. That did include 3 council members. It seems to me that the others were fence sitting, waiting for their cue from the ORG...


That's my opinion. Take that, compare it to the facts that are out there and draw your own conclusion. Sorry I can't sign my name. I don't want the ORG thugs searching my trash , calling my employer and running credit reports on me.
