Beast slowly padded up from behind, a tiny newborn male pup squirming in his mouth. He dropped it by the other two and nuzzled his mate lovingly, shivering with the cold. Eye lids drooped with sleepiness but he knew it wouldn't help, it was the responsibility of a parent.

BIC: *Lichen nuzzles her other pup that Nekhbet had just brought to the pack, moving him close to her. She smiles at the three sleepy puppies, eyes shining happily. Then she frowns with worry and whimper slightly, speaking softly.*
Nekhbet...you shouldn't stand there like that in the wind.
*She motions for him to lie down beside her and she nuzzles him, then checks on the pups that were curled up together close to her.*

BIC:

Beast gazes down at the three tiny creatures asleep between them and nods to his mate as she tells him ot come closer. Although he does not yet lie down and he doesn't understand why. Nuzzling Lichen he looks down again, feeling somehow protective.

OOC: Okay. Just so you know, I give you permission to kill WhiteWind! I will have him killed one way or another.
BIC: *A male, 3 years old, appears from somewhere in front of Lichen and Nekhbet. But his manner isn't a friendly one, his has his head lowered aggressively and his teeth are bared and he growls. His eyes are dull, as if blind or was a bit unwell in the head. Lichen immedietely feels alarmed and she growls at the male wolf, wrapping herself a bit around her pups. The male is named WhiteWind, though he is not of this pack. He is a loner for the most part and hasn't been around too long. The male boldy walks over the Lichen and snaps at her. She bares her fangs as a bit of blood trickles down her cheek where WhiteWind's teeth had dug into her skin. Lichen didn't want to move because she didn't want to upset her pups. The male laughs insanely and then spots the pups. It seemed that he didn't even realize that Nekhbet was right there. In one quick leap he had leapt over Lichen and snapped at the female pup who whimpered and cuddled closer to her mother. Lichen reacts by curling up more and placing her head over the little ones. She growls warningly.*
Do that again and I'll have your head!
*WhiteWind grins insanely and then shoves at Nekhbet, circling Lichen.*

Male beast raises dial over the others and bares his teeth agressively. Moving over infront of his mate and pups he snaps and the wolfs muzzle. Suddeny raising on back limbs Nekhbet growled and swiped his paw across the males face, scratching him deep. Seeing pain in the others occuli he new that it wasn't long. Running at him he pushed him over and quickly grabbed his neck. As teeth sunk into the rough skin Nekhbet had dark feelings. Blood trickled into his mouth and smothered the two bodies. One dead and the other pained. Glaring down at the body nausea swept over him, beast had never killed before. Lowering his stance and drooping his head he turned and looked at the wide eyed expression on his mates face. Hoping the pups never saw anything and also hoping WhiteWind had no family of his own. Nervouse, his tail twitched and he slinked over to his Lichen.

OOC: Sucky post, but whatever.

The female looks up at her mate and licks his nosetip lovingly. He had protected her and the pups, she smiles and then looks down at her whimpering pups. She licked each of their little heads, Ilori's, Nachi's, and Zile's. She loved her little family and was happy that she had one of her own that she could love.

I love you, Nekhebet...And I love our little pups...

She again nuzzles her pups and smiles at them.

Still a bit weary from the fight, he pads over 'pon wobbly limbs and collapses beside his mate. He was still worried that the one he killed had relatives or anyone close. Sghing and lowering dial he nuzzled his mate and licked the 3 newborns.

*Lichen nuzzles her mate again and looks worried. She glances over at the dead wolf and then to her pups, then to Nekhbet. She bites her lip and then licks the tip of her mate's nose.*
