Finally, The Rock has come back to Cleveland. Vince, can you smell it? The Great One can certainly smell it. It's the smell of fear coming from you. Think about it. You handpicked Chris Benoit to get to this point, and right away he has to face The People's Champ for the belt. You thought you could be clever, and reshuffle the deck and try and get a new number one contender. Well let me tell you something Vince, Friday you will be dealt the same hand. And that hand is The Rock's hand laying the smackdown on Chris Benoit and taking back the belt. And what better place to remain number one contender for the belt then right here in the home of Rock.
Now for the benefit of all of you watching at home, The Great One is going to give you a little preview of what will happen Friday night. Hardcore, you came out here rattling and bitching and moaning, but The Rock says IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY!!! If only some of your weight was brain matter, you might actually be entertaining, but you have no brains, and you have no entertainment value. You talk about how you beat up The Great One, well have your little cousin reread you the results, because it was The Rock's arm that was raised after our match. But you are absolutely correct about something. You know more than anyone about smackdown, cause the Rock laid it down thick on your inbred ass and Friday will be no exception.
Then you have the Corporate Kiss Ass, Chris Benoit. The Great One has laid you out everytime we entered the ring, all the way back to when you were in The Radicalz, and just like with Hardcore, nothing will change on Friday. Once again, The Rock will check your candyass into the Smackdown Hotel. You know, another reason why you are just like Hardcore is the fact that you are totally boring and unimpressive. The moment your "new" music hits, The Rock's millions and millions of fans all look at each other and say, "Man, this guy sucks. I'm gonna go take a leak now." You have never, and The Rock means never, impressed The People's Champ or the millions and the millions.
Finally we have Steve Richards. Stevie, me and you have a history, and that's why The Rock is proposing an alliance. We will get rid of the dead weight and have a match between the two of us to see who goes to the PPV as the challenger. The Rock knows you want Hardcore, and The Rock wants Benoit, so it'll work out great. After that you will go one on one with The Great One. Steve, The Rock has more respect for you than anyone else in this fed, but when the smoke is cleared and the millions and the millions are done chanting The Rock's name, The People's Champ will be going on to the PPV. IF YOU SMELLALALALALA WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING!!!
