Having attended a couple of Promise Keepers events, I
believe that basically the catalyst is Christ. At those
events, men from many different backgrounds and cultures
are encouraged to lay aside all of their differences
and praise God in unity for the one thing they all do
have in commmon, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Regardless of age, race, profession, denominational
affiliation, or anything else the one thing they all
share is a love and devotion for Jesus. In addition to
the common thread of christian faith, it is also a real
blessing to be in an environment where true Godly
masculinity is not frowned upon or belittled as it is
so much in our modern culture today. Satan has so
perverted our society that many men don't know how
to be men anymore, and even if they do, they are often
afraid to be. I would love to see a similar ministry
take root for the ladies!
