God bless you, my brother. I was filled with trepidation about even asking. For the edification of all, here is the update:

The family has managed to eke out enough to bury the child. The bad news is that it came from their living expenses, which they could ill afford as they are Hurricane Katrina refugees. The restaurant had a jar for her, as previously stated, but this morning I found that they have had to take it off the shelf as people were stealing from it !! Please pray for them, as well...they will need more blessings than this family.

The good news is that the restaurant has been able to glean about $300 total, which is of course far from enough, but perhaps enough to keep the family afloat until they can get back on their feet...but of course the need still exists. I have some local ministers in on it and have advised the mother, also,to contact Compassionate Friends in our area, as well as offering any support I can lend.

Yes, Brother Kurt, I have lost not one, but three children, and of course this touched me deeply...as did your generosity. I pray you will be blessed a thousand-fold.

My love to all my brethren here !
