Brother, It was ecourageing to me to read your letter; I thought to myself that nine years was a pretty long time. Then it dawned on me that I have been associated with Brother Steve since the year 2000. It's funny how fast time passes. God has used Bother Steve and UCMI in some awesome ways in my life also, the first time I remember was after someone in our small group was disappointed with the Pastor of the local church. This individual had a friend in the hospital near death for a couple of weeks and had repeatedly requested that one of the Pastors visit and pray with her friend. She was very discouraged because no one was available to visit her in the hospital. I offered to go, but because she was a new Christian, she thought it had to be an ordained minister and so she declined my offer until I was able to tell her that I was also ordained. (We all know this isn't necessary for us to do a hospital visit or pray for someone but it was important to this new Christian.) The long and the short of it was that God used me to lead her to Him when she accepted Jesus as Her Lord and Saviour during our visit. I share this for His glory, I'm just thankful to get to serve. Since then I have continued to learn and grow in the Lord and have stayed in contact and association with Brother Steve and UCMI. God is currently using me to Pastor a grass roots, homeless family ministry and Church. The shelter God has provided is a tool for evagalism and discipleship while we help families with kids get back on their feet and on track with the Lord. Over 250 families, over 1000 people, over 500 children and over 100 single women have lived on site and heard the Good News since God opened the doors in the donated facility that He provided in 2004. Father God, thank you for using Brother Steve, UCMI and me to help build Your Kingdom. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. Life is better with Christ! We all need to encourage each other today, while there is still time enough to call today, today. Thanks Brother Steve!
Let's all keep on keeping on...together.

Bro Jim G.
