Following the events of the courthouse shooting a year ago, My wife became interested the works of Rick Warren. My mother, a Catholic, bought her one of his books and she finds it an awesome work which has blessed her considerably. One of his books is entitled "The Purpose Driven Church" and you should also chack this work out.
Also remember that if a mans claims to be sent of God but curses something that is otherwise anointed, his work is a last-day 'false prophecy'(remember: there is no truth in the news and no news in the truth). I have a brother who is a TV preacher and many nasty and false things have been written about him so I had though all things wriiten about TV preachers in a negative was out of jealousy. That is until I found out some info about a TV preacher I was supporting. I was led to stop supporting him although I will not raise my voice against him as I know of people who have been touched by God via his 'ministry' despite the servant's hypocrisy. If this makes me wrong, well I stand at the head of the line of those flawed vessels who cannot make it through the day without the Grace/Mercy of God.
