There are some excellent points on both sides. I will gaurentee you that I have fallen short so many a time in my commitments. Although this has not been done in a pase'
attitude and was a result of some real life events, it "none the less" effects the ministry as a whole.

Just some things for thought.

Let's say you do, have a church or growing ministry.
Unless you have the funds, to hire some assistance, you then are doing "all" the facets of the ministry, from stamp licker, to toilet washer, to executive officer having to file and document, etc.

Just in my own personal conversations with Steve on varied topics, lack of passion, tenacity, or conviction it not the case. Believe it or not, giving into the ministry on a regular basis "will" make a difference.

I think the appropriate descriptive word would be:
Inundated.. What we might do as Pastors, (other than pray for Steve and this ministry) is not only hold (each other)accountable in giving..even if it's 10.00 "consistantly" that would be a start

Secondly, How many of us have posted, saying;
UCAI : DEAR STEVE, IF YOU HAVE A NEED FOR ASSISTANCE PLEASE CONTACT ME.
THESE ARE MY ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCES
THIS IS MY HEART IN SERVICE
HOW CAN "I" HELP "YOU"

I'll put my name on the top of the list

Finally I know just from my own business background that you have to have a "base camp" so to speak, and a foundational template that can support the growth you are wanting to move towards. Here we go again. That takes money and staff.

I challenge all our Pastors to come along side as brothers and sisters in Christ and make a united call out to brother Steve:

HOW CAN WE HELP OUR BROTHER, THIS MINISTRY, AND GOD'S CONTINUED VISION. However! Don't show up to a house building party if your not willing to get your hands dirty and sweat a little.

Brother Steve.
My prayers are on the table, as I know others are.

My hand is extended to help as a man of God, and a minister with UCMI, as I know others are.

Please accept our encouragement as this ministry is growing, and the many labors that you handle without assistance.

SO..We have a problem or challenge? Let's step up and bring some prayerful, walking in love solutions to the table with us.

WE..(You - Me - God) CAN DO..WHAT ( I ) CANNOT.

God bless
Brother Mark
