I have tired to stay out of this thread as it seemed to be getting unconfrtable for many. But I would like to hear one thing regarding the removal of members who fail to meet the legal requrements. I don't recall ever hearing Bro Steve speak of cutting loose dead wood. I do recall that those who don't respond as is requred by law would have their status in the registry changed to "Inactive". Is my understanding here acurate Bro. Steve?

I would also like to testify as to the rewrads of obedient giving. When I reviewed my budget and sought God's guidance as to what I should give this year I came to an amount. But in sending in that money I have found that God brought an increase and I have acutually been able to send in some extra money beyond my commitment. Not only that but I and my wife have been able to afford to take some of the courses in the Institute as well. If you start giving, even if it is just a small amount, the Lord will bless your finances and you will see an increase. Obedience always leads to blessing. God has called us to obey his will. It is not Bro. Steve or the state laws that we unlimately obey but it is the Lord himself as he has established our covering. Even if all you can do is sow 10 cents a month do so in faith and Lord will bring the increase and you will be able to do more.
