Subject: Thank You – 2 Scouts Advance to the Rank of Eagle

Thank you all for the prayers for the two Scouts that had their Eagle Board of Review tonight. Both of these young men have advanced to the Rank of Eagle Scout. This is an accomplishment that not all Boy Scouts achieve. There is much work and dedication needed to make it this far.

I ask for special prayer for Quinton – one of our newest Eagle Scouts. Many of you may recall a request I made about 2 months ago about a friend of mine that was diagnosed with Liver Cancer. This friend of mine is Quinton’s dad. The family has asked that you please lift George (the father) in prayer to the Father. The transplant team has denied the request for a liver transplant, because of the severity of the cancer. George and his wife will be traveling to Gainsville tomorrow (June 1st) to see if Shands Hospital will consider him as a transplant patient. Please keep this family in prayer.

May the love of God, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship with the Holy Spirit be with you all now and forevermore - amen and amen!
