I believe the PC term nowadays is "speaking truth to power".

And we as ministers as just as much if not more so to blame for several reasons:
1) Some of us allow our sheep to worship US instead of the Lord.

2 Some of us allow the church to become more of a business than a place of worship.

3)Some of us allow the opinion of mankind to skew our message.

If Thy left eye offends thee, pluck it out, for it is better to go into the Kingdom of Heaven maimed than to be cast into the fires of hell.

The comedic Ray Stevens said "Would Jesus wear a Rolex on His television show"? ...and that, brethren, is not simply a matter of loving Mammon more than God, but also one's self and what the world thinks of you.

I recently saw Tammy Faye Bakker Mesner on a TBN show...I forget which..in which she was stating basically these same things...and the audience let out an audible gasp, as if to say, "How DARE she accuse our ministers"? (Woe to Thee, Scribes and Pharisees )!!...but she was absolutely right...and who better to see than one who has been there and been healed?

My brethren,we are all wretched sinners. No, not one is clean. It is only by HIS blood and His victory over the grave itself that we have mercy and salvation. If that is lost on the masses, then all is lost.
