Subject: Hurricane Katrina Victims

I just wanted to ask everyone to pray for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. It's effect has been devastating to the gulf coast states, especially Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. There are millions of people who are in dire straits and a lot of loss of lives among the residents of the gulf coast. There are millions of people in New Orleans alone who are stranded on roofs of homes and business due to flooding from breaks in the levies. As you know New Orleans is below sea level, and without power to pump the water out, flooding will only worsen. Thousands of homes have been utterly destroyed leaving those people homeless. If you are able to help in any way, contact your local Red Cross.
