Hi, all. I haven't posted in a long time, but I've been lurking.

I wanted to give you a heads up about something. The answering service that I work for donates our services to the Red Cross when there is a disaster (we did it for the Tsunami) and we've been taking calls non-stop for the American Red Cross and the Canadian Red Cross.

I want you all to know about the generous and loving outpouring from the North American public. People are being wonderful. It's amazing how folks are coming through. And those who can't afford to donate funds call to ask where they can donate clothes or volunteer. It's been a great blessing to be able to talk to these people every day. I encourage all of you to call or send in a few dollars. Even $1.00 from everyone would be a great help. (You can donate on the website, or call 1800-HELP NOW, or mail a check, but I left the address at the office.)

We are also working for Habitat for Humanity. They accept donations of building materials (even boxes of nails, shingles, toilets, you name it), funds, TIME, anthing.

I urge you to call, or search the websites. PRAY for these folks when you pray for the victims of this hurricane. They need us, too. God bless you all.
