Subject: At a loss for words? Perfect!

How many times have we each been in situations, where we are at a loss for words, in either giving thanks to the Father, expressing gut felt deep compassion in prayer for someone, or just a sense of stirring in our spirit? Becuase of that I thouht I would address what the "Word" says about speaking in tongues. "Praying in the Spirit" As usual, I'll list the scripture, you look it up. So with that said..Here we grow!

WHY SHOULD I SPEAK IN TONGUES? - I Cor 12:3
TO EDIFY GODS SPIRIT WITHIN - I Cor 14:4
TO SPEAK THE DIVINE SECRETS OF GOD - I Corin 14;2
TO MAGNIFY GOD - Acts 10:46
TO SPEAK THE WONDERFUL WORKS OF GOD -Acts 2:11/I Corin 13:10
TO PRAY PERFECTLY - Rom 8:26,27
TO HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT BEARING WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT
Romans 8:16
TO PROCLAIM IN THE SPIRITUALS REALM THAT YOU ARE A JOINT HEIR WITH CHRIST Rom 8:17
TO STRENGTHEN THE INNER MAN - Eph 3:16 / II Corin 4:16
AS A SIGN TO UNBELIEVERS - I Corin 14:22 / Mark 16:17
REST TO THE SOUL - Isaiah 28:11,12 - I Cor 14:21
TO BRING FORTH A MESSAGE FROM GOD - I Cor 14: 4. 13. 27. 28

(I'm confused about tongues)
OK This sounds all wonderful, but I thought tounges were only for the apostles in the book of acts, besides I was taught that when the bible came and was completed that we didn't need tongues any more? I'll even prove it.
I Corinthians 13:9,10 says: For we know in part and we prophesy in part, But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. And the bible is perfect right?
(Let the Word interpret itself)
Let's take the premise statment.
I Corin 13:10
But when that which is perfect is come then that which is in part will be done away.
OK two important questions: WHEN is when? and what is the Word..refering to when speaking of that which is perfect?

Look at vs. 12
For NOW..what is now? Now was when Paul was speaking and the state of the church (the bride) before Christs return.
For Now we see in a mirror, dimly. (Only but a shadow of the glory to come)but THEN.. Then when? But THEN FACE..TO..FACE. with who? WITH JESUS CHRIST UPON HIS RETURN.
(Remember this is post ressurection, post day of pentacost)

In light of the Words' interpretation let's revivist vs.
10- But when (face to face with Jesus) that which is perfect (Jesus Christ the returning King) has come (That great day of his appearing) then that (speaking in tongues and the gifts of the spirit) which is in part (this is just a small pin tip of the fellowship which we will have then) will be done away.
Why? (Let me put it in every day terms)
You live in AZ I live in MT. I have to email you, talk with you on the phone, send pictures etc. While all these are wonderful, and keep us close, it's nothing compared to an embrace, looking you in the eyes, just "being" in your presence. Now..If you are sitting right there with me, do I need to email you? call you on the phone? text you? send photos? No. Why? Becuase when that which is perfect (i.e. the presence of the King) then that which is in part (that which I have been using thus far to stay close with you) will be done away.
When JESUS comes back, we will not need all these gifts that we now get only a glimpse of the glorious presence of the Lord. But for now this is my Spiritual, hot line to intimately share, and commune with the Father.
The enemy can't understand it either, that's why they are not only divine, but secrets..just between you and the Father. Groanings that cannot be uttered..the very deepest part of our spirit man crying out to the Lord.
