Quick update on an email I have sent out to close friends and families...


Greetings,

I have spoke to a few of the folks receiving this email, however for those of you who have not heard from me, I would ask your immediate attention and prayers as you are led.

I took my wife (Sara) to the Dr.’s office last week with severe abdominal pain and upon an exam (CT scan) on Friday the 6th of January 2006; they discovered a tumor the approximate size of a tennis ball located on her left ovary. At the discovery of the Tumor, a further test was requested this morning to do an ultrasound and internal exam to take pictures of this Tumor to find out what it is.

Ovarian - Complex Tumor Hemorrhagic: This is what portion we were given today which did not tell us a whole lot other than we needed to consult with an OB-GYN and an Oncologist and have them communicate on what type of procedure needs to be done. We know this will probably require surgery to remove the tumor, but we won’t know what that tumor is until surgery.

This type of tumor can be benign but also can be malignant which is why the 2 different doctors are involved.

Please pray for the Dr.’s that they will have understanding with the right path to take. Also pray that this tumor would be benign with no cancer cells in them or the surrounding organs and body. Sara has much more to accomplish on this planet, at this time, and it is not time for her to go home to the Lord.

The internet has a ton of information that explains a lot and nothing of our specific situation. It is quite confusing so please pray for peace and grace on our family during this time. We have to wait now for the Dr.’s to review the films and tests to determine our next move. Our minds can get the best of us and be very negative if we are not careful. Sara is in quite a bit of pain so please pray for relief in this area as well.

I am contacting those who are close to us and whom I feel need to know concerning these finding. We still have a lot of information to we need to retrieve so until then, we appreciate your folks who know how to touch the throne of God doing so on behalf of our family. For those who don’t understand, if we are brought to your thoughts, just ask God in Jesus Name to work on Sara’s behalf for complete healing. Keep the kids in prayer as well as they are stressed out with the unknown and pray that I would have wisdom on how to comfort them during the waiting process.

We appreciate your prayers and as I get information, I will pass this on for additional prayer if needed.
