Subject: Christmas Blessings and an Update

How very wonderful it is at this time of year, to wish all my Brothers and Sisters at UCMI a very Merry Christmas. There is something about knowing who Jesus is on an intimate and personal level that makes the offer of these Christmas greetings so very special. We are indeed a blessed people, called by Him as servants and indeed as shepherds. Again a very Merry Christmas to each of you.
As most of you know, I was involved in a very serious automobile accident on 7/7/07 and suffered critical injuries. I continue to improve almost on a daily basis. I still require braces on my left leg, as well as a quad cane or walker to ambulate, but I have recently been able to assume my pastoral duties at my Church, for which I praise God. I also praise God, that the Minister that took my place during my abscence has felt the Call of the Lord on him to stay and assist as needed in the church. He and his family have been a great blessing and we look to the Lord to accomplish much where he has placed us.
Again I want to thank the many of you that have prayed for me, sent financial support for my ministy during this time. Please know that I do not take these things lightly/ I spend much time in prayer seeking direction from the Lord, and also for the Lord to abundantly bless the sacrifice you have made as well as the time you have spent petitioning the Lord, not only on my behalf, but on behalf of all those you pray for.
May God richly bless you. Let us work together to see souls born into the Kingdom, and His will be done in all things.
I also would remind each of you of the responsibility that we have to UCMI. We are blessed to have such a covering for our ministry. Bro. Steve works long hard hours to see that all requirements and legalities are met. Our fianicial giving will help defray the cost involved and help UCMI to support other ministries and chairities as it seeks to minister to the whole world.

In His Service
Pastor James L. Taylor
