Subject: Rally Day

Churches used to, and I suppose some still do, have a Rally Day for their Sunday schools at the end of summer to bring everyone back together as a group. Would any ministers of UCMI be interested in something similar? I was thinking that we could set a date for our on-line chats, sometime in September or October, where we would all just stop by the chat room for a few minutes (or longer if wanted) and say hi or get acquainted.

Since all don't have Internet, I thought this would give folks a chance to plan. If there is an interest, perhaps someone could collect emails of those interested and send a reminder before the day arrives. Maybe if everyone brought a cookie or donut we could share refreshments!
