Dear Sister Sandy,

I was moved to respond with a word of encouragement.

We are indeed in need of praying for our country; and yes there are many things that can be disturbing as it pertains to politics; The good news is that God's word is true and sure.

We live, I beleive in that time of birth pangs, in the end times, yet as well, Jesus said "do not be terrified, for these things must come to pass".

Ours then, as you said, is to be watchemen, walk in the love of Jesus Christ, stand on his word that we walk in "truth" not error, and in all things give thanks.

I beleive we need to know the seasons unfolding, that we are aware, and at the same time, take great peace in knowing that
a. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God in Christ
b. We are more than conquerors through him who loved us
c. We are the beloved, whom the soon returning King will gather together that we live an reign with him forever and ever. Amen :)

Be strong in the Lord and the Power of His might,
and be still Knowing that HE is God.
