Subject: 2009 A TIME AND A SEASON


Dear UCMI family,

Here we are in 2009. I earnestly beleive we are living in unprecidented times. The word says that no man knows the HOUR of his coming, and indeed scripture indicates that we have some things ahead of us, yet it is easy to see the season of time we are living in indicates the hastening of the Lord's return.

What a hope, what an encouragment; especially as we witness events before us. The anchoring confidence is in knowing that all these things MUST come to pass, and in so doing bring all the closer the return of our Lord.

Imagine going into battle knowing the outcome ahead of time. Even in the darkest of conflict, what confidence would be kindled in having the vision of the outcome. This is none the less with the Saits.

May this year be a year in forging even greater into the calling of His highest, that in all things we would know (as the song says) This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through. May we be all the more embolden in our ministries, all the more compassionate in our outreach,and all the more encouraged as we stand on the Mighty Word of God.

Brother Steve, I pray God's grace, blessing, and quick work in the things he has placed in your spirit regarding UCMI, that it would bare much fruit, Glorify the Lord, and advance the kingdom...in Jesus name.
