Subject: Miners Rescue (To God be the Glory !)

I am watching with awe the rescue of the Chilean miners that have been trapped 2000 feet underground for 69 days.

To a man, the miners are in surprisingly good shape and spirits. The news media are commenting on the "resiliency of the human body",to which I say "Yes, and Glory be to Him who designed it..to Him who gave us the strength of spirit, and of charity.

It only re-emphasizes to me the illogica of atheism. All of what is flesh is so brilliantly designed. The slightest shift of temperature, chemical balance, hydration, et al., can result in a breakdown of what is so perfectly balanced...to entertain the thought that it happened by accident is laughable.

And forget, for a moment, the body human...what of the spirit of charity necessary for the rescuers to risk their own safety...the most animalistic of all human emotion...to help fellow man? No greater love, said the Christ, and we are blessed, so blessed, to be seeing it unfold before us.

Brethren, this is a moment to tell your grandchildren...how you saw the Lord work through these people, as we did with those who sacrificed so much at 9/11. If something like this doesn't make you fall to your knees, brother, then you more than any need to do so !

Praise His Holy Name for these rescuers and for the health of these men. Please agree with me in prayer for their families.
...and while you're at it, thank Him that you were not one of them !!
