Yep, I hear what you are saying. I do agree we should remind those we know with UCMI ordination to do the annual report--it reflects on all of us. Probably some have lost the fire and fallen away--too bad. For those "on fire" they should remember their ordination date--it is after all an important date like a birthdate or anniversary. So they should be able to get their report in once a year at that time. If there is a fear of giving, I can say that Dr. Smethers has accepted whatever I can send with no complaint. This is a great ministry with its own school. Our little ministry ordains and we refer applicants to basic studies here at UCMI--unfortunately, when it seems there is work to be done, the applicants fall away--but it's just as well to know that up front. I can also say that my UCMI ordination and charter has equipped me to equip others. I am ordained by God. But in man's world they want to see where and when I was ordained--my UCMI ordination number is on my letterhead and cards--I am proud of it. I wish I was in a position to offer more. I have bumped heads here at UCMI (even with the founder), but nobody holds a grudge--that is maturity in ministry and I am glad for it. Sorry for the tangent.
