(I need to reply to old messages too, so don't think I'm silly for being a bit behind the times)
As the tentacles reach toward her, indignance surfaces in the form of hot fury, causing her magic to cloud around her like an aura. Coupled with the power of her stone, it keeps her firmly grounded, although the storm does effect her. Her vision blurs and she is forced to cut off at least part of her power; she chooses mindspeach. She doesn't hear the announcement of Grey's death and wonders briefly why Calliope is acting such; her power was a strong force they depended on. Immediately distracted by the storm's advance on the gryphon, she throws caution to the wind, quite literally, and shoves her power toward the storm. Tied in it is multicolored strands of magic, woven tightly together. Reds, greens, purples, blues, and white hurtle towards the storm. At the point of impact, the thick thread explodes into a million fragments of magic like a shattered rainbow. They form a thin meshlike net before and in the storm, and slowly begin absorbing its power. The source of the net, DOL with her onyx, remains steadfast, the mare with her eyes closed, oblivious to the winds and magic tugging at her.
