After blinking a moment in numbed shock, her instinct causes her to stand before she thinks about what just happened. Hot fire races through her and her vision blackens, and she sinks back to her knees, restraining a groan of pain. As she lies, she processes what had just happened.

Stupid storm, she growls to herself. Moreover, stupid me.

Taking a deep breath, she forces herself to stand, sending only a wisp of her healing power to dim the pain. With slightly blurred vision, she continues standing wearily.

"That's not going to happen," she growls at the storm, but doesn't bother to speak any louder. As if she could, with who-knows-what damage to her ribcage. That little point called to mind, she smiles faintly at the gryphon. "Thanks. I won't be that stupid next time, I promise."
