Seeing this, the Chimera whirls around to see the source of the magic that had been able to fight successfully against its smoke. But instead of seeing the source of the magic, the Chimera sees another. Calydor. The rearing mythical angered the cloud-creature for some reason. A paw full of bared claws sweep forward to knock the mythical to the ground. Once that paw has passed, either contacting with Calydor or not, another paw appears, moving just as fast in the opposite direction.
