Chrestomanci shoves a sword into his sheath and pulls on a pair of wrist bands. He looks at Jahanaci, "Ye' gonna patrol? Ice Mist left me in charge..."
"Have fun then, feather-head."
Chrestomanci playfully shoved her as he passed, and got a wicked slap in return.
Jahanaci went back to cleaning her sword, polishing the translucent metal.

Chrestomanci shook his head, not understanding her at all. He took to the air and slowly circled the desert, glad for the thermals that rose off the heated sand.

He found the azure sky calm, with nothing in sight, but he kept a hand 'pon the hilt of his sword, ready to decapitate any thing that was not supposed to be there.
