well im 5ft7 and i can run the 400 in 1.05 and i slow down at the end, and my coach taught me some endurance, ok... first go in your front yard and do some sprints to get warmed up, than try to run the 400 if you start to slow down pump your ARMS faster, if your arms are faster, than your legs wil follow, and i would start out at a jog and on the last turn kick it into full gear.....hope this workd.
