Finally, a discussion I can actually *enjoy* being a part of! Because (unlike nearly every other conversion I have in my entire life, be it online or otherwise) it's something that I actually know something about! And there are very few of those things!

>I have two questions! Are the two best spots on a
>coaster the front row and back row, or does the back
>row always suck?

I generally use the following rule (except for certain coasters which, for whatever reason, violate that rule):

Go for the front row, but if you can't, then go as far back as you can.

You see, the back of the train often provides the most "X-treme" forces, particular in the negative-G area (otherwise referred to as "airtime"). However, the front, while perhaps not giving as much airtime, provides the unique sense of enhanced *speed* that comes from having the wind hit you directly in the face. And also, let's face it, the view is much nicer.

>Did they wait until everyone who paid for the auction
>had a chance to sit in the front at Knott's Berry, or
>did they start letting on NON-PAYERS after the initial
>ride?

After the first ride, they waited about an hour or so before letting the general public in. During that time, only auction winners, media people, and their guests, were allowed in. I spent the entire hour, though, waiting for that front-seat ride.

> Did you gusy get special treatment because you paid?

Well, we got that nifty t-shirt!

>I love coasters! I love Ben Parrish! I'd like to give
>him a hug on a coaster!

Okay, this interview is over.
