Subject: Riding time Shandy

I come into the stable the next morning and I go straight to the tack room where I get shandy's brushes and tack. I then walk around the corner to shandy's stall where I let myself in. He greets me with a nicker and I give him a carrot. I see he has had some toilets trips overnight. I move him out of the pooh. I then start grooming him. he moves around alot so I went and got the lead rope to tie him up. He didn't like it much but he will learn. I then began grooming again. I picked his hooves and tacked him up. I give him a sugar cube for waiting do nicley then I undo the lead rope from him and grab his reins and I lead him into the arena. I mount him then trot him around for a warm up. Afetr wamring up I set some jumps up and we canter over them. After some jumping I decide to reward him with out food so I go on a nice long trail ride. He was a bit jumpy because he had never been around here but once we got out of the forest and back into the fields we galloped around. He loved it! When we reached the gate I let him jump it. I was surposed too though. I then walk him him up to the stable door. I dismount and lead him into the wash stall. I untack him,groom him and pick his dirty hooves. I then turn him out into his paddock with fresh hay and water. I then muck out his dirty stall and I add clean straw. When I was done I called him into his stall. I kissed him and gave him a small carrot. I put his tack away then I lock his stall and I leave.
