That afternoon I come back to the stables. I go to the tackroom and I grab shandy's tack and brushes. I then walk to her stall and I let myself in. She nudges me but I say no treats shandy! you got enough this morning. he snorts. He's stall is still clean so I was glad. I kiss him then I begin to groom him. he stays still now when I groom him. I pick his hooves then I tack shandy up. I mount him and take him into the outdoor ring. I warm him up in there then I practice some barrel racing. My time was 15 seconds. Pretty good for starters. I practice for another half an hour and my time gets to 14 seconds. I pat shandy and I dismount. I cool him off then I put him in he's stall. I untack him,groom him and pick his hooves. I then put he's tack away and I go get he's food ready. I come back and he has done a pooh. Oh god I think. I put him into he's paddock with his food and I get a shovel and I pick it up. I then bring him in. I give him water and I leave him with the grain he had before. I then kiss him and I leave.
