Subject: Monday Night War... {Everyone Read}

{The scene is set inside a very prestigious French restaurant in New York City. Maxim Reality and Shannon Elizabeth are seated at one of the best tables preparing to order their dinner.}



Maxim Reality: So what are you thinking of getting, Shannon?

Shannon Elizabeth: Well, I think the veal looks good. Oh and by the way, I forgot to ask, how is Bubbles doing?

Maxim Reality: Well I haven't got to talk to Balla recently because he's been with her. And I haven't talked to C-Rock in a little while, but last I heard she was going to be getting out of the hospital pretty soon.

Shannon Elizabeth: Well that's good. That was a really messed up thing that Extreme did.

Maxim Reality: Yeah, tell me about it. But don't worry he'll get what's coming to him. Ya see, that's why I don't want you to get involved with the HWF. I don't want you to get hurt. There are a lot of psychos where I work and if one of them touched you I'd kill them. People like Extreme don't last long, though. Sometime in the near future he'll slip up and when he does, you can bet the rest of the Prime Time Playaz will be there to see it happen.

Shannon Elizabeth: Well that's good. Oh and you fought great on Thursday. You were excellent. And during that last match a lot of weird stuff happened.

Maxim Reality: Yeah, Hardcore Thursday was good as it always is. At first it wasn't that exciting because of a few jobber matches. But then I got to defend my People's Championship against Baldwin and Eclipse. I'll have to admit those two guys got some talent, but in the end I eliminated both of them. I got rid of Eclipse with a double-underhook sit-out powerbomb threw a table. And then I nailed Baldwin with the 'Thundershock' threw two tables and I eliminated him. So it was a pretty good night for me. And being the only Playa booked that night, I thought I did pretty well. But when the main event came I just got confused. Pirona broke away from the EWO and helped the Establishment guys beat on Extreme and Ryan McBain. Next, Justin Tense came down and nailed Riot and Eclipse with his kendu stick. So it seems the EWO lost three members on Thursday. Pirona left and Riot & Eclipse were taken out. Oh well I guess. Besides, that just made it easier for the PTP to come down and beat some ass. But all in all it was a pretty well-rounded show. And I'm hoping Monday Night War will be the same.

Shannon Elizabeth: Yeah. Are you sure you're ready? This wrestling thing is really dangerous and you've got to fight in some cage thing too.

Maxim Reality: Geez, you don't know too much about wrestling, do you? I'm just joking with ya. But it's not a "cage thing". It's called a Hell In A Cell and it's one of the most brutal matches in wrestling today. And I know it's gonna be very dangerous, but it's just what I do. I've given my entire life to wrestling and I'm not about to stop now. Ever since I entered the Hardcore Wrestling Federation I've worked as hard as possible to get a shot at that World Title. And now that I've gotten it, I'm not gonna mess it up. I'm not gonna let the Prime Time Playaz down, I'm not gonna let you down, and I'm not gonna let myself down. This match is too important for me to worry about my personal safety. Everything will be on the line on Monday and I'm kinda looking forward to it…

{Maxim and Shannon are interrupted by their waiter.}

Waiter: All right, are we ready to order?

Shannon Elizabeth: Um, yes we are. Could I have the 'Agneau d'un Dieu'? And what are you gonna have, Maxim?

Maxim Reality: I think I'll have the 'Bifteck D'Aloyau' and a Caesar salad. Thank you.

Waiter: All right it should be out shortly.

Shannon Elizabeth: Thank you very much. Anyways, Maxim, what do you think will happen on Monday?

Maxim Reality: Well most of Monday's matches revolve around the European Title Tournament. I was thinking of entering it myself, but I didn't want any matches interfering with my World Title shot. The first match is gonna be Eclipse versus Jeff Matthews and Eclipse should win this match, but ya never know. Next, D-Von Dudley will take on Pirona and since D-Von has done one interview throughout his entire HWF career, I'm betting on Pirona. Then Extreme fights Ben Der. Now that match looks like a f*cking joke! Ben Der absolutely sucks. He is the worst wrestler I've ever seen in the HWF and he's gonna fight someone with a track record like Extreme? Geez, I feel sorry for that little bastard. And then Blue Devil will be fighting someone, but they're not sure who yet. And after those matches, Riot defends his newly won Hardcore Title against Justin Tense. Let's see, Justin Tense has had one interview and Riot hasn't been doing interviews. Frankly, I don't care! And finally, the main event. This looks like it's gonna be one of the best matches in HWF history. McBain and I have been the worst of enemies since he first entered this federation and I've always hated Mankind. I injured McBain's boyfriend at the last Pay-Per View and Mankind and I have only faced each other one on one once. So this match really should be entertaining.

Shannon Elizabeth: I don't know, that Ryan McBain is kinda cute.

Maxim Reality: Maybe you think so, but he's also an asshole. He single-handedly created a stable called the nWd that failed to accomplish that much in my opinion. And now he has joined up with Extreme and formed the Extreme World Order. And I don't give a damn if Extreme or any other member of the EWO wants to interfere because I am way too focused to mess this match up. What I hate about Extreme is that he actually thinks he intimidates me. It's kinda funny, actually. To me, Extreme is just some big goon who doesn't have the balls to face me one on one. Anyways, Ryan McBain to me is just a punk. He can never go too long without being in a stable. After Da Kliq broke up he had to make the nWd and then once they disbanded he went to the Extreme World Order. Now if the PTP ever had to break up, which will never happen, I wouldn't go looking for another stable. I'd just go it solo. But it's obvious McBain can't handle that. He went solo for a little while in the HWF, but he couldn't do it for too long. So he joins a stable so he can have little bitches watch his back. I'm not like that, though. I joined Degeneration X back a while ago because at that point in my career it was the right move. I didn't do so I could have people helping me win matches. When I joined DX, I was really looked forward to fighting alongside Extreme, but for some strange reason he just disappeared. He didn't tell any of us. And he rarely showed up at matches. So when we pulled off the combining of DX and the Hit Squad, we got rid of Extreme because he wasn't doing anything. And to be honest, I think it was a good move. But McBain is the type of guy who can't survive without a good partner like Extreme, and that's why he pisses me off. Every time I fought against his partner Reznor, Corey always claimed that he was gonna "end" my career. But he never did. And I know when I hear from McBain he's gonna say the same things. He'll say crap like "Maxim Reality, I'm gonna break you in half on Monday" and "You don't even stand a chance against me!" And I'll probably reply with "Are you kidding me?!" Me and McBain had a one on one match a while back, but he had to forfeit because he's a punk. He said he got injuries from his match against Nyte Ryda and Cactus Jack. But think about it, I beat both of those guys. Nyte Ryda and I went against each other in that 8 Man Battle Royal for the People's Championship and I came out on top. And before Cactus' first departure of the HWF, I won that last match he had. So if both those guys injured McBain, imagine what I could do to him! And when we were scheduled for our first match, I was really ready to kick his ass and he knew I would too. So instead of coming to the ring like a real man, he backs down and says he's hurt. I was really gonna unload on him too, but he obviously couldn't handle the beating I was ready to dish out. McBain and I have never actually gone toe to toe. Even in that 12 Man Battle Royal for the #1 Contender Spot, we never actually went against each other. All that happened was him giving me a moonsault. So on Monday, the world will see what happens when two of the best superstars in the HWF go at it. And it's gonna be amazing. McBain, I'll admit is an awesome athlete, but that doesn't matter to me once we step into that cell together. And kind of respect goes right out the window when you're facing me or any member of the Prime Time Playaz. McBain can also dish out moves in a lot of different ways. He can give you devastating flying moves and he sure as hell can throw a DDT. But doing high-flying moves in a Hell In A Cell doesn't always work to your advantage. Moves like those can easily be messed up and send the wrestler flying into the side of the cage and landing square on his neck. And trying stuff like that will be McBain's downfall. But one thing about this type of match and McBain's fighting style is that if he pulls off some of those moves, they can be even more dangerous than they usually are. That's why the way McBain fights will greatly affect this match. But for the past few weeks, I've been training and working just so I can have certain ways of defending his aerial attacks. And so far, a lot of those defenses look very promising. I have devised a way to turn his Senton Bomb into a reverse falling DDT. But that one will be hard to execute. But they don't call me the Extreme Technician for nothing. McBain should be prepared for what I have to offer. And he should NOT take our match lightly. He is going into our match with a LOT of confidence and I'm not sure if that would be the best way to think about a match as important as this one. Though, Reznor and I have had one of the most heated feuds in HWF history, McBain and I have always hated each other with a passion. We entered this fed at about the same time and the second we met, we began feuding. I got my first title shot against Reznor at Crippling Virus '99 and never fought against McBain in singles matches. We fought in a few tag matches here and there. Blue Devil and I won once, he and McBain won once. Our tag team history went back and forth. But our singles history is only one match. And it was one match that McBain decided not to take part in. And since I've never gotten the chance to unload on him like I want to, I'm gonna take out all the hatred I have for him on Monday. It's gonna be a great match, that's for sure, and I'm thinking it's time for someone other than McBain to be on top. It's my time now. I mean, look at how my career has been going. I am a former Hardcore Tag Champion, a former European Champion, and the current People's Champion. The People's Title is a great title, but in this federation is regarded as a very 'low' title on the importance scale. But I think it's pretty impressive to go from a low title to a shot at the World Title in just a few days. McBain can and should bring his best game on Monday Night because I am giving it 110%. I'm not gonna hold anything back because the is going to be the greatest match in HWF history. And I'm glad I get to go against one of my greatest enemies.

Shannon Elizabeth: Geez, has anyone ever told you that you talk a lot?



Maxim Reality: I tell myself that everyday, actually. I'm sorry; am I boring you?

Shannon Elizabeth:No, not at all. Just playing around with you. Don't you have another person to fight in that cell thingy?

Maxim Reality: Yeah, my other opponent is none other than the HWF legend, Mankind. And yes, I will admit he is a legend. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna do whatever I can to end his career. Every time I hear Mankind come to the ring and talk his ass off he says the same crap over and over again. He constantly mumbles about him being the man to fly off the cage on onto either me or McBain. But personally, I think if anyone flies off that cage, it will be McBain. And even if Mankind attempts to fly off onto me, I'll easily move out of the way. Mankind is a slow fat has-been. And I know that's a disrespectful thing to say since he has been with the HWF since the beginning, but it's my opinion. I can't help it if Mankind is no longer entertaining. It's not like it's my fault. Ya see, one thing everyone in the HWF except Mankind knows is that his career isn't gonna last much longer. He's old and worn out. Eventually, he won't have what it takes to hang with the talent in the Hardcore Wrestling Federation. Even if he does fly off that cage and land on me, he'll probably suffer a heart attack on his way down! And that would be a damn shame, but it wouldn't be my problem. Mankind is definitely a great competitor and a true champion, but his skills are getting weaker and weaker by the second. Being a three-time World Champ is also very impressive. But the thing about that is this: sure, he won the title three separate times, but that means he LOST the title two times. And I'm gonna be number three on Monday Night. I mean, let's face it, Mankind doesn't do any training, he doesn't get in shape for matches. He no longer puts in the necessary effort in order to cut it in the Hardcore Wrestling Federation. He's gotten really lazy as of late. If he wants to retain his title on Monday he should probably get his ass in shape. Me and McBain are no pushovers. We're gonna give Mankind one of the toughest matches in his entire career. And here's what I think will happen to Mankind on Monday: Maxim Reality will give him a vicious powerbomb through the top of the cage and onto the ring. After that, McBain will deliver a Senton Bomb to that fat bastard. Then when McBain goes for the cover, Maxim Reality will hit him with the 'Thundershock' and win the match-up. But I'm not gonna guarantee victory because that's not how I operate. Ya see, Mankind has beaten many of greats here in the HWF. He beat C-Rock and Balla. But I've also beaten Balla. Maybe it wasn't a one on one match, but it still counts for something. And maybe C-Rock and I haven't gone head to head yet, but I think I have what it takes to win. Mankind should just face the facts, I have the capability of beating him. Just look at our physiques! Mankind has a VERY oversized posterior while I am sporting the muscles of a Greek god. I am much faster than Mankind and I think I will be able to take this match to the extreme. Mankind is one hardcore sonofabitch, but on Monday Night I will prove to be the most insane superstar in the HWF when I bust out some of the craziest moves this federation has ever seen. I might not be a cruiserweight, but I have what it takes to pull of some of their moves. Besides, this isn't just any normal match. This is the World Title. This is where I pull out all the stops. And Mankind will be the one to feel the pain I'm ready to deliver. Let's look at our history: we first went against each other in a 15 Man Junkyard Match. After I eliminated Joker with my elbow drop, Mankind hit me from behind and gave me a double-arm DDT onto a computer. I'll admit that was a good move, but it's gonna take a helluva lot more than that to stop me on Monday. The next match me and Mankind had was a Last Man Standing Match. While I has several interviews, Mankind had none. And I had been working out for a LONG time getting ready for that match. And Mankind was sitting at home eating corn dogs and watching football. That win was an utter and absolute fluke. Mankind won on sheer luck! And I can assure you, Shannon, and everyone else that Mankind will get NO help whatsoever from Lady Luck on Monday. If Mankind wants to beat me on Monday, he's not gonna be able to believe in miracles because he's gonna have to rely on them!! He says stuff like he's the only true World Champ, but in my mind the only true champs were Shawn Michaels, Balla, and C-Rock. Mankind doesn't belong on that list with the way he thinks of himself. And hell, since we're in a cell, there's no way his stable can save him from me beating on him. I've beaten both Team Extreme, Pirona and I have never fought one on one, and Eric Jackson isn't that impressive to me. So what his stable boils down to is a bunch of Maxim Reality victims. And after I win that Worlds Title on Monday. Believe me, there will be a lot more victims for me to claim. I'm not gonna lay down for Mankind or McBain on Monday because I've put too much work into this federation to be jobbed. My entire life has revolved around winning the World Title. Ever since I entered the HWF, my livelihood has been making a name for myself. And on Monday when I beat McBain AND Mankind I will have proved to the world that I deserve a spot as one of the top men in this federation. Right now, me and McBain are being pushed as #2's, but after Monday Night, I will be #1. Mankind has had his time has the World Champ. He's been at the top long enough. I am going to show every person who has ever watched wrestling and has seen Mankind wrestle, that it is time for a change in the HWF. And that change will be called MAXIM REALITY! And in case I don't get the win on Monday, I WILL become the World Champ at the next Pay Per View. I've waited too long in this federation to get this kinda shot. And I'm not gonna blow it now or at the PPV. I can guarantee you that by the end of this half of the year that World Title will be around my waist. And not just because I'm a Prime Time Playa, not just because I'm the Extreme Technician, but because I am the one, the only, and soon to be legendary, Maxim Reality…
