I know Valley Stream is like $5 to residents. this place is like $200. Ok they don't have as much space as VS. but they don't have as many residents either! They have very few residents who really like it here and the ones that go to the meetings to try to make this village better, are made to feel like they don't belong. Look at Main St. Now Stop and Shop is moving.That says a lot about people spending money in the village. This is a ghost town. People who pay high prices to live some where get something. No one wants to pay to live in a ghost town. They claim to be doing all this stuff and working on cleaning up the place. Main St is to get new store fronts (they look cheap) this may help but because of Atlantic Ave people drive by and do not stop. There is nothing to pull them in. There is nothing here for people to see. There is more to a village than places to eat. The boats will help. People will keep their boats here but before they go out on their boats they will stop outside the village to buy what they need for their boat trips because it is cheaper. I think the Village Hall can be a nice senor center and go with the Town of Hempstead or work hard and get these Village Idiots out. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
