To gain knowing and understanding of her nature one first must have perceptive of her past.
 
 
The main attribute is of her father - unknown by name, but his ways have formed small legend, passed down from the places he had sojourned.
 
Never placing name for himself - known only as "The Wild One".
 
His spirit was of the wildest nature - none had ever calmed his soul, and so untamable, he was forced from herd and home as colt - refusing to respect elders or any others. With such brutal treatment he became hardened inside - wanting to sustain life untouched by the kindness or affection of others - growing vicious to those who tried to show him such things.
 
 
Dam was a young mare, known as "Golden Sunset". Of pure arab strain, sired by champions in a Livery.
 
Mare was of the gentlest nature. Put out in the paddocks during the time of breeding, "The Wild One" was located in that area.
 
As mares were let loose in the paddocks he caught the scent - moving quickly he claimed many mares for his own, and stole them from the people; forcing them out into the wild and to become a part of his herd.
 
As with the others, he bred with Golden Sunset - who later was to give birth to young femme Diablo.
 
 
The offspring of the unruly stallion quickly learnt their place and the hierarchy within the herd - "The Wild One" was on top, and a force not be be tempted. All others were below, and to be repectful and obediant to him.
 
Most foals accepted this, but there were two, a colt and young filly, who had inherited the stallion's unruly nature.
 
They would show their defiance to his rulings, and took disliking to his behaviour and expectancy's.
 
The young filly, known to the herd as "black coat white", and daughter to Golden Sunset - now newly christened as "rusted red", retained her father's wild and free spirit, and indeed of his whole litter was the single young to bear such resemblance to him - in both his coloring and character. Yet still she had the soft nature of her dam.
 
But through her likeness to father, there arose problems - "The Wild One" cared little for those who would disobey, and would 'teach' them proper respect.
 
Through his harsh treatment "black coat white" grew rougher in spirit, always wary of an approach by fellow herd members, soon becoming a loner within the land.
 
Finally at reaching maturity, her once more careful and gentle nature was covered completely - spending day and night alone, at distance from others. Loosing trust, instantly suspicious of any she was to see.
 
 
Ways are hard to change, and in footsteps of sire she grew irritated by those who showed a kindness she had never known - always expectant of the worst.
 
None have ever been patient enough of her ways, but maybe someday there will be that one...who will discover that gentle nature she had beheld as young.
