June 6, 1944 Sally Louise O'Herien was born to Florence Luella (Gifford) O'Herien and Alfred Charles O'Herien in either Marcy, New York or Utica, New York. Either born in Marcy State Hospital or Utica State Hospital or quite possibly Faxton Hospital. As far as we know Sally was given up for adoption because her birth mother was in an Asylum and they wouldn't let her keep the child and her birth father already had 3 boys to look after. We just recently found out that Sally existed, had been hidden through the years that there was another child. I would be Sally's niece, and I am very interested in finding her.
If anyone has information, including if you worked at those state hospitals and remember anything or if you are Sally reading this, please contact me. I would very much like to talk to you if you would like to be found. If you don't, is there anyway you could let us know that you indeed do exsist. We have conflicting family stories that also state that you were made up, but I feel there is too much information to support that theory.
