Information : We, 3 children, Ed, born 28-04-1947 in Lancaster, Erna, born 11-3-1949 in The Hague and Shirley, born 28-04-1953 in The Hague, are searching our father: HAROLD GARDNER, born 10-10-1919 in Lancaster, England. We have this information about him: He was a soldier in the British Army, WWII,armynumber and regiment unknown. He was a lorrydriver during the war and detached at a family in Tilburg. He married our Dutch mother (Sophia Francisca Maaike de Vos, born 25-11-1928) after the war. Worked as a docker in the Port of Rotterdam shortly after the war, also with Wilson Gasmeterfabriek in The Hague and with van Heijst Staalconstructies in the Hague. He left the Netherlands in 1956, probably for Australian, Canada or New Sealand (not certain).
