question about searching for birth relatives

In my state there is a way to find bmom/dad. You fill out some forms and send it in, then if they are searching for you.....they hook you up.

Turns out my mom sent in the form, and it was received the day that I called to find out more about the registry. The social worker (BTW< my original social worker). SO ....I sent in my form, and got all this identifying info about my bmom.
so i called my bmom.....she is a lot like me, name, and profession, and sense of humor...but she wants really no contact, only found me to tell me about a genetic disease, a serious one, i got tested and i am only a carrier, thank God. this was like 7 years ago. and contact was made like 4 times only, and two times short emails.

BUT, turns out she is adopted too....i know her birth day and adoptive name and state.....anyway to find birth family or her???

She has no want to search, is averse, but i have a need to feel where i am from....how do I start???
