She watched in silence as the exchanged passed between grandmother and grandson. He was smart enough to realize that Mist at least deserved his respect. Though his last statement had her auds flicking forth. She'd never known Mist's son well, had pretty much avoided him, weary of his darker nature. That now his son had arrived... Ice wondered what kind of trouble would follow in his wake.

A sigh slid from her parted lips, and she stepped back a pace, giving Mist's flank a nudge before she turned and disappeared like a shadow into the woods. She knew her place in the pack, but Mist and Greyn and the youngsters deserved a family reunion, and she was not family.
