It affirms that which is of God. When the Holy Spirit quickens a person dead in sin, something inside changes and you are not the same person you were previously. It is not the same as turning over a new lease on life, because that concerns itself with the temporal. This change is Spiritual and changes the person to things that are "eternal". Things that happen after this life but begin in this life.

About grace? Don I've mentioned many times I was a hardcore drug addict that really wanted to quit but didn't know how because I didn't see anything better than drugs. That was my blindness. Everyone has their own blindness. Some are even blind with their religion. Some are even blinded by their egos. But one day that all change with me. It wasn't me that changed it, it was God. quickening me by the Holy Spirit. It was as if I was in complete darkness and all of a sudden a light came on. It isn't the same way with everybody but that's the way it was with me. That's God's grace. He saw something in this hardcore drug pushing addict that could bring glory to Him. That's grace, it's giving favor to a person who doesn't deserve it. That was 32 years ago and it gets better everyday. Not really materially but Spiritually and really how much is everlasting joy worth anyway? It's priceless, worth giving up my selfish life for. And it's guaranteed.

W> Yes they will Don. You don't know that but I do. Sadly, most will see it on the other of this life. When it will be too late, they will say why didn't I just listen to what he was saying and check it out instead of joining the big crowd of scoffers that were against him. That day is coming Don, as sure as yesterday happened that day is coming.

What does hell look like to you?

W> To me Don hell is a place where there is no longer help. Like treading water forever and ever and never a hand reaching out to you to pull you in. It's your choice Don but it must be made in this life. There is no second chance. You don't believe hell's there? Then don't. That won't make it go away though.
