But your problem is with religion, not true Christianity. You are letting the failures of a religion mold your thinking and not what Christ has done for you. That's not relationship that's religion. That's one big problem I see with history. Of course you should learn it and learn it well but to build your beliefs on history only leaves God's Word in the past as only a part of a bigger picture. This to me is dangerous.
