The big problem is that there have been centrifugal forces at work, over the many years since the crucifixion of Jesus, leading to many different versions and interpretations of what is believed to have been God's Words, and very many denominations of groups of believers, all claiming to follow Jesus. According to page 3 of volume 1 of the 2nd edition (2001) of World Christian Wncyclopedia there were at the time of writing 33,820 Christian denominations across the world.
..... In my view, as I wrote before, believers should go back, way back, to the time before the crucifixion of Jesus, read what is likely that Jesus wadistinct nted it, and IGNORE all the stuff that was added afterwards. On the other hand God's more recent messages must NOT be ignored.
