I'm a bit of a tom boy.

I'm cleaning the house UP NORTH because my oldest daughter and her family of five just moved out to their new home.

I'm not cleaning, as you say. I'm redecorating. It was outdated when we bought it nine years ago. We are replacing fixtures, covers, wallpapers, paint, repairing windows, had to pour concrete for a new walkway. So we're sanding walls, filling holes, stoping leaks, sealing the deck, replacing hand rails on stairs etc.

I'm also going to put down new floor squares over the old vinyl flooring. Lets see..............

We had our air conditioner serviced, I cleaned the oven and refrigerator. Dyed carpets and have more to dye.

The person who left is almost twenty nine. He has been told that he's engaged by this women he met. It's time for him to move on. He's excited about it. I'm up and down about it. Both of our homes are clean. Just one needs overhauled. It's over fourty years old. Lots of work. Depressing but true.
